The Korporata Energjetike e Kosovës (KEK) has announced a tragic incident that occurred at the Kosova B Power Plant, where a 55-year-old worker lost his life as a result of a workplace accident.
According to KEK’s official statement, the worker sustained severe bodily injuries during the incident. Emergency medical teams immediately intervened at the scene, and after efforts to provide assistance, they confirmed his death.
Initial information indicates that a truck was also involved in the incident, while the full circumstances are expected to be clarified following the relevant investigations.
The competent authorities have launched procedures to fully investigate the case, while KEK has expressed condolences to the family of the deceased and emphasized that it will cooperate with the responsible institutions to shed full light on the incident.
