The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has stated that the fulfillment of the new mandate’s commitments has begun with the implementation of the budget approved in the Assembly.
Speaking at a meeting of the General Council of Lëvizja Vetëvendosje, Kurti emphasized that the budget was approved in its second reading on February 20 and amounts to approximately 4 billion euros.
“We are beginning the work of fulfilling our commitments in this new mandate with the budget approved in the Assembly in its second reading on February 20,” Kurti said.
He announced that the budget also includes the 13th salary for public sector workers, which is expected to be distributed at the end of this month.
“The budget, worth around 4 billion euros, also includes the 13th salary for public sector workers, which will be distributed at the end of this month that began today,” he declared.
According to Kurti, the approval of the budget marks the first concrete step toward achieving the government’s priorities in the new mandate.
