One of the members of the Prosecution at The Hague has begun presenting his arguments before the court regarding the second indictment against Hashim Thaçi for obstruction of justice, an indictment that also includes Isni Kilaj, Bashkim Smakaj, Hajredin Kuçi, and Fadil Fazliu.
The prosecutor displayed on screen several of the statements that Thaçi made during meetings and conversations with the accused in this case and with other individuals, which were intercepted.
“Tell him that in ’94–’98 you never saw these two. Close it,” Thaçi is alleged to have told Hajredin Kuçi during a visit in 2023.
