Kuwait’s Ministry of Defense said that several American fighter jets crashed this morning and that all crew members survived, Anadolu reports.
“The relevant authorities immediately launched search and rescue operations, evacuated the crews, and transported them to a hospital to assess their condition and provide the necessary medical care,” a ministry spokesperson said in a statement.
He added that authorities coordinated directly with U.S. forces regarding the circumstances of the incident and “took joint technical measures.”
The spokesperson said investigations are underway to determine the cause of the incident.
