The 55-year-old worker, Mixhen Sadiku, lost his life today in a serious workplace accident at the “Kosova B” Thermal Power Plant in Obiliq.
As a result of a collision with a truck, he sustained severe bodily injuries and, despite receiving immediate medical assistance, he passed away.
According to initial information, the driver of the truck that fatally struck the victim did not see him while reversing the vehicle.
Officials from KEK, the Kosovo Police, and emergency medical teams immediately arrived at the scene and confirmed that the victim had passed away.
