A worker at KEK lost his life yesterday while at work.
The Kosovo Police stated in their 24-hour report today that the incident which claimed his life was caused by a person who is suspected of negligently hitting the victim while reversing a truck.
Police said the suspect has been sent to detention.
“Kosova B, Obiliq 27.02.2026 – 10:09. The male Kosovar suspect has been arrested, as he is suspected of negligently hitting the male Kosovar victim while reversing a truck. As a result, the victim died at the scene, with death confirmed by the medical team on site. By decision of the prosecutor, the lifeless body has been sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine for autopsy, while the suspect has been sent to detention.”
