The U.S. military has announced the deaths of three soldiers in fighting with Iran, while confirming that five others were seriously wounded. According to United States Central Command, several other service members sustained minor injuries and are in the process of returning to duty.
The Command further emphasized that major combat operations are ongoing and that their response continues. At the same time, it stressed that the situation remains unstable. The military said it will withhold additional information, including the identities of the victims, until 24 hours after their next of kin have been notified.
